Today we present you the next team bike from Proteam Jumbo Visma. We were there when the mechanic at the team headquarters assembled a brand new Cervelo S5 for the 2023 season for Marianne Vos.
The Cervelo S5 has been considered one of the hottest and fastest bikes in the pro circuit for years. Cervelo has not stood still but has given the aero road bike some improvements that make the bike even more aerodynamic and the frame has also become lighter. The best feature, however, is in the V-shaped stem, this is now easy to adjust in height and it can be changed in minutes, so that everyone can file on his optimal seating position. Wout van Aert could already impressively win several stages on the new S5 at the Tour de France and also won the green jersey.

Marianne Vos:
She is one of the most successful female cyclists of all time. She has been world champion 13 times in the elite class and was Olympic champion 2 times. She is strong and successful in all bicycle disciplines: road, track, cross and mountain bike. She won her last world championship in cross in 2022.

Heute präsentieren wir Euch das nächste Teambike vom Proteam Jumbo Visma. Wir waren dabei als der Mechaniker in der Teamzentrale ein Brandneues Cervelo S5 für die 2023er Saison für Marianne Vos zusammenbaute.
Das Cervelo S5 gilt schon seit Jahren als eines der heißesten und schnellsten Bikes des Profi Zirkus. Cervelo ist nicht stehen geblieben sondern hat dem Aero Rennrad einige Verbesserungen spendiert die das Rad noch aerodynamischer machen und der Rahmen ist dabei auch noch leichter geworden. Das beste Feature steckt jedoch im V-förmigen Vorbau, dieser ist nun einfach in der Höhe einzustellen und er lässt sich in Minuten wechseln, damit jeder an seiner optimalen Sitzposition feilen kann. Wout van Bert konnte auf dem neuen S5 bei der Tour de France bereits eindrucksvoll mehrere Etappen gewinnen und holte sich mit großem Abstand das Grüne Trikot des besten Sprinters.

Marianne Vos:
Sie ist eine der erfolgreichsten Radsportlerinnen aller Zeiten. Sie wurde bereits 13 mal in der Elite Klasse Weltmeisterin und wurde 2 mal Olympiasiegerin. Sie ist in allen Disziplinen stark und erfolgreich Straße, Bahn, Cross und Mountainbike. Ihre letze Weltmeisterschaft gewann Sie im Cross 2022.

I can say from experience that the S5 is a solid frame. Myself and a friend still own and regularly ride our S5s. Granted, our frames are from 2013
