ALRIGHT BIG UPDATE:

I'm somewhat acquainted with paleontologist Thomas Harrison Duran, another person you may have seen on TikTok or YouTube. He has informed me that the claims of DePalma restricting access to his specimen are a false rhetoric that has been spreading. He himself has worked with DePalma's specimens.
So, I was wrong, DePalma doesn't restrict access to them at all. I'm not sure where this rumor started but I'm gonna try to snuff it out now.

Something to note is that although dakotaraptor itself is dubious, we KNOW there was a giant raptor in its habitat. We just don't know if that raptor should actually be called dakotaraptor.

I hope it's valid because,
A)it means there was a large predator _other_ than T.rex in Hell Creek &
B)saurian has a beautiful depiction of the animal and saying goodbye to that is saying goodbye to a piece of my soul.

We do actually have teeth fossils of a Deinonychus-Sized Dromeosaur from Hell Creek. So not all is lost
