Also, bacteria causes tooth decay. If any portion of your real teeth are exposed or the bacteria gets under your gums, you will get cavities and those real teeth the veneers are holding on to will have major issues

Honestly this channel made me get out of my depression and go to the dentist and im happy i did because im fixing problems I didn't know i had i got cavities filled and i have a cleaning coming i feel so much better this channel makes you think "am i really taking care of my teeth?" And i thought i was and nope i wasnt and i learned flossing helps but that stringy stuff hurts going between my teeth i hate it

My dentist told me that crowns and veneers often require more maintenance than regular teeth because of the possibility of getting cavities under them. A lot of enamel is shaved off to allow for proper fit, so you’re greatly increasing your chances of needing a root canal if decay is allowed to happen under that fake tooth.
