Where Tibet and Nepal Meet: Tsum Valley Trekking, Nepal Himalaya

Показать описание
22 days of relaxing hiking on the Tsum Valley and Manaslu Circuit Trek, through the Nepal Himalayas, bordering Tibet. Join me, along with Sangay and Tsering (my guide and porter from Tsum Valley) on our trek as we experience authentic Tibetan and Nepalese village life, unlock the secrets within Tibetan monasteries, and go hiking with dogs, goats, yaks, and donkeys through breathtaking valleys and over awe-inspiring mountain passes. Trek was in March/April 2023.

---

Himalayan Tahr Treks, the sponsor of this trek, is a locally owned and operated trekking company that specializes in providing unique and very local experiences within the Manaslu Circuit and Tsum Valley regions. Because Sangay and Tsering were both from Tsum Valley, we were able to catch a glimpse of Tibetan village life by visiting their family homes and unlocking many monasteries in the villages.

I just came back from a business trip to Nepal, where I did watch some youtube videos during my spare time at night in the hotel. Now this video occured on my timeline: I am totally flabbergasted with the sheer serene beauty of this video. This is single most the most beautiful breathtaking video I have ever watched on youtube. Thank you for this, nothing compares. 🙏❤️

I am a Tibetan. Your videos are very beautiful and bring back many memories of my childhood. Because the environment and humanities captured are no different from those of Tibetans, except for the language barrier. I saw monasteries, Buddhist scriptures, Tibetan, Prayer flags and tsampa, I feel speechless, thank you🙏🙏🙏

Love the anonymity of the trekker. He doesn't dominate the video, which allows you to appreciate the content. Beautiful.

There are no words to describe the incredible beauty in this video. The scenery, the people, the animals, even the music makes this a wonderfully amazing adventure. I feel as though I was actually there too! Thank you for sharing a part of the world I would never have seen without your video.

Wonderful video. So glad I happened upon it. Stunning views. The best part is the fact that the way you filmed it allowed for me, as the viewer, to be immersed in your trek. Quietness, tranquility. Appreciation of the majestic surroundings, the people and their lives.

Of all the Himalayan films I’ve watched over the years, this was the most respectful and eloquent. The quiet peaceful music with spectacular scenery captivates you. A heavy narration would have ruined it. Very calming and meditative.

I usually don't have the patience to watch even a movie all the way through in one sitting, but this time, I watched this video without taking a single break. You had me hooked from the very beginning. Thank you for showcasing our beautiful Nepal to the world! 😍
