omg you got 2 of my favorite books of all time (the house in the cerulean sea & anxious people) they are so so good!! cerulean sea is SUCH a cozy read. i've never read a book so precious heartwarming and wholesome, , it makes me so happy! fredrik backman is one of if not my favorite author. his writing is so easy to understand yet so deep, metaphorical and beautiful! his books leave me thinking about them for so long after i finish reading. i hope you have a good experience with them 🫶

Anxious People is one of my all time favorites! I’m about to read it for the 2nd time. Bear town was my first Backman and I was hooked. The audio version was great! Something about that narrator just matched the story.

House in the Cerulean Sea is definitely cozy fantasy, whimsical, found family, with a touch of romance. Although, the author writes across a few genres. His Wolfsong series is paranormal romance and is being republished this year!
