After 2019, this trick has been deemed useless. Even though I was one of the biggest fans of this trick ever since Ronaldo started it in 2011 but right now it works against your boots. The technology Nike keeps introducing and the stitching and glue parts all work in harmony but before 2019 there wasn't much technology in boots except the high cuts and low cuts and that was really it but now you don't need to do it rather just play in them for a long time and get used to them and it will work wonders in full effect.
