Omg! Thank god I've come accross ALL YOUR VIDEOS, not only do I think it can help me but more so I'm praying that it can help me change a very close friends life that has been decades of up & down mental illness and addiction issues, in and out of hospitals, recovery, sober living like a revolving door. NOTHING IS WORKING! Now at age 56, soon to be 57...how he's survived this long is beyond me. I know it all stems from childhood trauma. Just when I think "maybe this is working and he's finally on the road to true recovery" he falls even harder, losing EVERYTHING he gained....clothing, his car, all things he held precious to him....GONE, then back in a hospital, almost every hospital in LA county. And now in a hospital in Long Beach on a 14 day hold. Oh god I think "Whats next?"
Literally he's on his way to death. Seems all these institutions just aren't equipped for a long-term plan of stability for people that suffer from mental illness mixed with addiction. Especially when dealing with someone that is extremely well educated, they themselves become their own worst enemy because they are so so good at convincing even the best medical team that they are "good to go", and end up finding a way to be released way too early. Anyway, this will be another of so many videos I've shared with him to try to get him to understand when left to his own devices "as smart as he may be", ultimately it ends up turning south because he's NOT addressing the true issues of his mental health. If this doesn't help, the only other option he will have left in my opinion is finding a shaman or it's gonna kill him😖😢
