Troy, even though the Meta characters are gone (Baby Daisy and Luigi, Daisy, and Funky Kong), there are some good options for characters, such as Baby Peach (+speed and weight) Toadette (+speed and off-road), Luigi (+speed and weight), Peach (+speed and acceleration) Rosalina (+speed and mini-turbo), and Heavy Mii (+speed, acceleration, and handling). I didn’t include other Mii’s because you only have the Heavy Mii.

They should honestly try to make players immune to bumps from the player that bumps you for a second or two upon first being bumped, if possible. That would stop those weird interactions where you get bumped 20 times by the same person in half a second and get sent flying regardless of your weight stat. I don't think Nintendo ever intended for vehicles to interact like that, and it's so lame when it happens.

These Mario kart wii games look so fun, it's really making me want to drop 150 on the Wii console and join in on the fun. When I was a kid, I'd always watch people like dazran303 or Cobanermani or all the old Nintendo YouTubers play Mario Kart, and I was always fascinated by this game and I always wanted to play it! Unfortunately my family was poor at the time and couldn't afford getting me a game system. Then, time caught up with me, and the new Mario Kart game came out so by the time as i had money to get my own system, it felt like I had no reason to play this game anymore.

But seeing all the new and REALLY COOL custom tracks, modes, and how many people still play this game today, might have sparked my interest to buy a Wii and play Mario Kart Wii once again and scratch the itch that young kid me that binge watched Mario Kart Wii YouTube videos had long ago!
