we got a cat a few weeks ago and the rescue folks came and delivered her to us. we spent the next several hours exactly like this, no exaggeration. screaming, finger pointing (you let her out!!!), panic. of course the cat was in the one place we never looked at, the secret shelf under a tiny table in our living room.
