I bet what got Asmon banned was him messaging other players in English. It makes it rather obvious you're not a Japanese player. From there it's just an account ban for being outside of Japan.

wow looking at the comment it's surprising how people don't understand why players from outside japan got banned, the simplest reason is licensing. the publisher(not developer) that handle japan version and global version is different, so that the global players can only legally play on global. it also to prevent server overloard because its japan only play test meant for... *Cough* player from Japan if you guys still fail to understand that.

I mean that is what happens when you play in a Japanese beta test, type in English, and especially stream it. At least he got to see the game in its pure form, I do not even want to know what it is going to look like over here.

Makes sense. They ran the beta intending to receive feedback from Japanese players. Even if they looked at feedback in many different languages, they would need multiple translators to process the information, before they reached the development tean. It's not that the opinions of Japanese players are superior either. It's probably just more efficient so they can implement changes more quickly. Doesn't apply to all companies, but Japanese work culture has a reputation for being bogged down with bureaucracy. Just ask anyone living in Japan about the amount of paperwork they have to deal with for all kinds of things.
