I've come to the conclusion that every laptop running Windows 10 or 11 just has bad audio. I've reinstalled Windows 10 and 11 so many times on all different brands, Dell, HP, Lenovo. They ALL have a lag/delay when they should be playing an audio prompt/warning when the alert box pops up. Desktops seem to have better audio, right on point when you'd expect the alert sound. But every single laptop, new or old, I deal with just has bad audio. It never used to be like this. I'd say it started about maybe 3 or 4 years ago.

Device Manager:
If you cannot hear something after updating the Driver, Undo it. That means, change it back and then restart your computer.

if nothing helps, i would suggest you to turn of audio enhancement of ur headset from sound settings, this would definitely work.
