I am sorry for writing in English, but I can't speak Portuguese. I saw a trailer for this film with English subtitles and I must say I have mixed feelings about it. On the one hand the story of Fatima should be spread. On the other hand the trailer makes me think that the producers approached the story with a very modern mindset, which makes the film inauthentic.

I find it impossible that anyone in Fatima at that time would dare kick the parish priest, not even a drunkard. Jacinta would never have done it. And she would not have kicked the boy who was taunting her either. She would have reprimanded him and told him that what he was doing was a sin. If he had continued, she would have prayed for his conversion.

I have read Sister Lucia's Memoirs and some other books about Fatima, so I have an idea what Jacinta was like.
