I just watched this. Jacinta, I don't think you know how blessed you are to have your father, your daughter's Godmother, and your unbelievable smart, wiser than her years, daughter. You picked the right person to take care of her. Most people can't ever leave that awful place. Consider yourself blessed, and trully loved. When your daughter said the words "you've been doing this for 11 years, when you get out can it be my turn to do what I want.😭 I couldn't stop😭 When your child spoke was with wisdom, love, and pain. The 10 yo daughter has more of a chance at breaking this generational curse while living with her grandmother than she ever will with the mom. Sad, but true. Mom is still very selfish and is not ready to change.

The whole story is Heartbreaking but I'm upset with the Grandmother telling the little girl that her being sad was going to turn to her being mad when she got older. She's a very bright young lady, let her process her own feelings without any coaching involved. I have the feeling grandma says a lot of things about her mom that she shouldn't be saying. I know the situation is frustrating, but it's unhealthy for her to bash her mother in front of her, she's already dealing with a lot.
