I love how these people hate the ending because I do too! In a way, Alex killed herself twice. First, she knew not to keep traveling into the snow but went anyway. Then she chose to die if she were to lose her limbs. The baby could have stayed with a relative. So her husband blames the villain for killing her? And the lawman beside him knew this was revenge and self defense for everything. The one thing he wasnt responsible for, he blamed him on. As some pointed out, the bank could still get his ranch.

The episode with Dabney Coleman and Kevin Costner in Yellowstone where Kevin playing a younger John Dutton with Dabney as the father and older John told Kevin that he missed his other son and wife. Did anyone else catch that?

It's lazy writing on Sheridan's part to string together improbable events only to kill off the female star. Tacking on a scene from Heaven was silly. What are you saying, you didn't really kill her. Everything is better now. I was hoping Alex's former fiancé didn't die when Spencer threw him overboard. Then, we could see a second dual in Montana. This time Spencer dies and goes to Heaven. Have a little more respect for your audience.

Some of the comments refer to a missing generation based on a statement made I think 1883 where a native American says you will have this land for 7 generations, but doesn't that assume that the Kevin Coster's Yellowstone is the final generation? Could not not be a Yellowstone 2053 for example?

There is a generation missing ! James, Spencer, Spencer’s son John 2, John 3, Kacey, Tate. That’s only 6, It’s supposed to be 7, there will be a crazy story twist to that in 1944 I’m sure. But that is very frustrating
