Spin mop hacks are always a favorite!! Love this new mop head and I don’t know why this wasn’t the original design… no more scraping!!
Tile that goes all the way up to your ceiling?! Don’t want to scrub on your hands and knees?! No problem—spin mop to the rescue 🙌🏻
If you need new mop heads or if you don’t have a spin mop (how is that even possible), they are in my saved Amazon storefront and a story highlight.
Hack 1: Clean Your Kitchen Cabinets & Tile Backsplash
Use hot, hot, hot water
Add 1/4 cup Tide powder detergent
Add a splash of bleach
Works great on cabinets and tile backsplash!
Hack 2: Laundry Strip Your “Clean” Rags and Mop Slippers
Use boiling water
Add 1/2 cup Tide
Add 1/4 cup Borax
Add 1/4 cup washing soda (available at Walmart)
Stir solution, add rags, and let sit for half an hour, stirring occasionally.
Remove rags with tongs, spin out extra water, wash as usual.
Dump dirty water down the toilet.
Hack 3: Mop Your Floors
Use the hottest water possible
Add 2 tsp(ish) of Tide powder detergent
Add a splash of bleach
Mop slippers and spin mop are in my saved story highlights and Amazon storefront.
Hack 4: Clean Textured White Walls
Use the hottest water possible
Add a scoop of Tide detergent
Add a splash of fabric softener (to get rid of dust)
Spin out as much water as possible to avoid dripping down the walls.
Add this to your kid’s once-a-month chore list!
