For the nun and the cop, I honestly expected that since they're background characters. It's not rare for their models to be reused if the style between two movies are the same. As for the shoe brand, it's small wink and a nod like in many other movies (for example: a car looking identical to Doc Hudson in The Incredibles during the final battle with the omnidroid or also the "Lightyear" tire brand in cars referencing to Buzz Lightyear.)
