Several instructions say use warm water to wash the grounding sheets to remove oil and sweat. So why do you was in cold water?

Hi. What detergent did you use? Everything i look at says no brighteners, bleach, perfume, oils or powder detergents. Very hard to find something that is free of all of these.
Also, maybe you can help me with this please. I test my grounding sheet and grounding mat as you do here and get the same kind of readings as you do. I unclipped the ground wire, put my hand on the sheet and get exactly the same readings as when it's connected to the ground wire...it's like the wire being connected makes no difference. Any thoughs on why?
