Originally, the Chatterer and Butterball Cenobites had dialogue written in the script, but the make-up made their speech impossible. Their lines were given to the Female Cenobite and Pinhead to help cement his reputation as the film’s main character. Originally, Doug Bradley was going to turn down the role of the Lead Cenobite to play the role of one of the mattress movers. As a new actor, he felt that the audience should see his real face to help establish himself better. He eventually got so good with the application and removal of the Pinhead costumes that Doug ended up being credited in some of the Hellraiser movies as an assistant makeup artist.

This movie puts real fear in me and the new one that just came out makes my stomach turn on how graphic it is just like blood splattering and people dying from start of the movie until it finished .. I love horror movies it’s not often that the newer movies can make me jump or cover my face

Idk who says it like See-nobite but that's normally an indicator you haven't watched the movie. Also saying that Pinhead is a main character in either of the first two films is also a red flag that you haven't watched Hellraiser. He was the lead cenobite but were secondary villains for sure after Julia and Frank.

I have always thought pinhead/doug bradley & candyman/tony todd should both be included in the mortal kombat video game series too!! Can y'all imagine the type of fatalities, brutalities & friendships moves that those 2 could do in mortal kombat?!?! "WE HAVE SUCH SIGHTS TO SHOW YOU!!"

How about the actress who played the female cenobite in Hellraiser I? I have read that she turned down the invitation to play the character in Hellraiser II because hers was an unpleasant experience, the costume caused back problems to her and apparently, when she saw herself in the mirror with the finished makeup on she was horrified with what she saw. I love the female cenobite. She was the most frightening and majestic to me.
