12-year-old kills 8-year-old cousin and tries to cover It Up

A 12-year-old girl is accused of smothering and killing her 8-year-old cousin over an iPhone. According to the county's prosecutor, a security camera recorded the killing inside the bedroom the young girls shared. The recording shows the older child using bedding to suffocate her cousin as she slept in the top bunk. After the child died, the juvenile cleaned up the victim and repositioned her body.

I’m agreeing with this guy, obviously the child had shown aggressive behavior before. Treat as an adult, her brain was mature enough to know right from wrong. She even cleaned the victim up afterwards. She acted like an adult treat as such.

Evil. That 12 yr old didn't just make a bad decision. It wasn't an accident. It was completely calculated. She waited until the girl was asleep. She cleaned up and after she killed her. She repositioned her body and went back to sleep. Seems like her frontal cortex was working like an fully developed psychopath.

My 13 yr old son told me about this yesterday. He's only a year older and even he expressed his shock and disgust at this girl's actions. At 12 yrs old she knew better and her repositioning the body shows that she knew exactly what she did. Her brain may not be fully developed but bffr, lady!
