Okay here is a more reliable way of conquering those Star Wars caves:
Build walls and fortifications!
The enemy usually dont break them (or throw thermal detonators at them) if you are not on the actual obstackle.

So what I do is block of the ways that lead to me, stand on top and kill them with any and every ditance weapon I get my hand on. (starting with my crossbow)
Bad ping and server lags killed me more often than the actual monsters.

Second tip: forget the Regneration Charm.
Its useless in Expert mode!
You wont live long enough for it to regen your health.
Instead go for the Hearty Totem.
It will keep you add perma 3 additional hearts and heals any damage that only takes those additional hearts in a few seconds.
Basically it does, what we want the regen Charm to do.

Kaz the easiest method to get through the Star Wars frost caves is to block off all paths with 2-3walls thick then set up stairs behind then just bob and weave up and down the stairs until you kill them all.

I like using the "HEARTY TOTEM" for fights in Expert mode.
it will give you 4+3 hearts when full.
it means, after a quick healing using the snowberry shake you will get full hearts + 3 extra
eating pizza gives you more extra hearts but takes too much time IMO

Me and my son did them, BUT you need a crap ton of arrows and then what we would do is wall up ramps or parts they can get through before they know you are there..then when they swarm they can't get anywhere near you and you can pick them off from a distance. The desert and snow caves on SW Island are pretty hard for sure. But the desert especially since the update has Ruby in them and man its a ton of it!! Got like at least 3-4 stacks from just one cave! Sw Island is honestly pretty overpowered resource wise 😅 besides sapphire and cursed bones you honestly can start a world and pretty much never need to touch the mainland

Next time you should try bringing Thermal Detonators or Dynamite, especially for the last stage.

Some times enemies in this game have god like aim! They did not design the game for you to be able to never take damage and dodge everything. Enemies will BS you! there is also a stun effect when you take few hits back to back. That will kill you in Expert mode!

Loved the video @Kazify! Can't wait for the next video man! Personally, I'd grab at least one of my Villagers and Gear them up to go with me, and then take a Vehicle to the Caves so that it's a bit less of a Journey.

Gear:
• Recurve Crossbow (Epic, Triple Damage).
• 2 Stacks of at least 70 Arrows each.
• Longsword (Epic, Triple Damage).
• A Stack of about 60 or 70 Snowberry Shakes.
• A Stack of about 60 or 70 Spicy Burgers.
• Inner Fire Charm (Highest Possible Rarity).
• Health Charm (Highest Possible Rarity).
• Maybe a Totem of Return (Not sure if these can also help save your Villagers as well).

And I'd probably build an American M3 Half-Track and/or an M4A3(Late) Sherman Medium Tank just to get around a bit faster as well. While we can't actually bring our Vehicle Builds into the Caves, Just having them on the Trip to and from the Caves is still nice even if builds like these can't be completely used.

0:45 when a villager is exploring with you and dies no matter they are not part of your village, if they are following you they will respawn near you again 😔

HUGE TIP: forget the spicy burgers, place camp fires on TOP of frostland cave 1-3 (depending on # of inner fire charms) you will not be “freezing” nor “cold” when you enter 👍🏽

Don't do it without a totem of return . you worked to hard on your builds and they are beautiful !

You have to pickup your missed arrows to stay stocked not just leave them. Also stay up on the top ledges and figure out how to arrow at huge distance they don't run up to you then (and tend to even get confused and stand in one place for easy pickings). Yes you have to aim super ridiculous high for the arrow drop but once you get the general feel it's not too bad to get hits almost every shot (and once a test arrow hits remember the offset aim point).

I've cleared out 3 ice caves so far in mine, slurp juice and regen really helps out plus just being good with the shield
