Is it just me or is the oloid roll the way a 3d Pringle would roll

How does someone just discover shapes like that, as their job and everything? I love it

Somewhere in my ape brain, the lack of understanding of the wobbler frightens it.

The flomgle is made from a wobler shingle that is used to compliment a plumbus

That pillow looking thing rolling is sooo satisfying for some reason. It itches some weird part of my brain that I can’t explain!

You can make something like that oloid by joining two disks together edge to edge, with one at 90 degrees to the other. There were disks that were given away with packets of crisps in the 90s that had slots around the edge so you could join them together and make towers and other shapes, but if you just joined two they would roll, just like the oloid.

I remember watching the full version of this video back before I had a printer. You really got me into this hobby to begin with. Thanks

I recommend making a video about the "Hungarian Shape" called the "Gömböc" it is a solid structure made out of one material that has the ability to always "stand up" after it had been moved.

The bicylinder looks like it could also rotate on the Z axis as well.
