Life in my 30's I A productive evening after my 9 to 5 wfh, running, cooking dinner

Love your new PJs also what a daughter getting your mum piglet in bed ones - great present idea. In my job I'm out & about 2 days a week visiting businesses & then wfh the rest of the week which suits me really well but I get why some employers want their staff in the office. I never went travelling either & honestly I regret it so much. Went straight into work too! But last year we went away for a month for our honeymoon - Singapore, Australia and Bali. It was absolutely amazing. You won’t regret it. And we have just booked Japan for April 2025!

My work is very flexible and I can work at home whenever I want, and I am so grateful for it! Like you mentioned, it amazes me how much I can do at home when I don't have to factor in commuting time.

From another perspective re travelling, I lived in different countries in my early 20s after uni and will never regret it. It does have potential disadvantages like starting a 'career' (if that's want you want) a bit later and maybe not being as financially stable as early on in life as you might be when going straight to work. Travelling though made me learn about the world and myself in it and I don't think I'd be the person I am now without that time. I hope I will have other opportunities to travel and I don't think it should be limited to early life or when you're retired if you have that possibility.

I bought some skims pyjamas recently and think buying pyjamas as a gift is so underrated, I love receiving them as a gift!
Definitely wish I went travelling before having children, however get to look forward to taking them to some amazing places when they are older!

Sunday mornings in bed with a cuppa watching your latest vlog is my happy place 😊 Your giraffe pyjamas are lovely, what a great find. I’ll be trying out your cod with prawns recipe as it looked delicious. The clip at the beginning with Matt killing the fly - I can totally relate! Had the same experience only the other day and I felt terrible! 😬 Also, I’ve been in my new job for 3 months now and when I started we were required to work 2 days in the office and 3 were wfh. As of this coming week we’re only required to do 1 office day per week and the other 4 can be wfh. Very convenient but I’m still getting to know my colleagues so not ideal in that respect. Hello! Love the giraffe PJs! I’ve been on a little mission to replace my sleepwear lately but it’s all been M&S stuff. I’ll be hitting up Chelsea Peers and Cyberjammies at Christmas though, they always have cute festive sets. A bunch of the Bon Appetit folks have either gone over to the NYT cooking channel or have their own YT channels now (though saying that I think a few of them stayed post-scandal). My fave was always Andy Baraghani, but I think the magic of it was that they were all so fun together. I watch a bunch of different food channels so if at any point you’re after recommendations let me know. You were SO brave eating something red while in cream PJs, I just couldn’t - the risk of spillage is way too high 😂 Enjoy the rest of your weekend lovely, hope you’ve had a good one so far xx
