Here's the best you haven't got an internet connection and are not planning on getting internet don't buy an xbox or any next gen console. These consoles are built around internet support to make them run. Big game titles need an internet connection to download the game and an update just to run it, physical game disks won't even run offline even back compatible xbox 360 games. Eventually game consoles will be obsolete and all next gen gaming will be an online subscription app and xbox isn't far away from that.

Bummer you can’t earn achievements when offline. I tried it and it locked me out of certain achievements that I can’t accomplish anymore.

What I don't understand is the little box under the recent tiles telling me to connect to the Internet whenever I boot up my console. The process is done automatically, so why the prompt? The first time I saw it, I reluctantly pressed it, only the see that my settings were in order. I just had to wait without pressing anything. The UI is such a mess at times. Please fix this.

When you showed how to set you Xbox to offline mode how did you get your dashboard to look like that? The setting and other tabs were at the top of the dashboard

There are always some games that are unable to be downloaded what about them like I put a game on install then it tells me an error occurred and my connection is fine and there are other games that are downloadable.

Sometimes, my Xbox won't connect to my TV. It has always been fixed, so far, by a simple hard reset on the Xbox. Hold down the power button for 10 seconds
