I used to take my switch+accessories with me everywhere I went. Now I just take my phone and controller. Remote play is freaking awesome. I play everywhere I am, even without wifi, thanks to my unlimited 5G through Verizon. Also runs really nice on my iPhone 13 PM. So thankful I found out about remote play.

Public service announcement/warning: The Backbone now has a $50 yearly subscription for the app to have functionality. They do not state the cost it anywhere on their website or app store. You get the first year free then need to pay yearly. Its basically a $100 controller unless you want to cough up the extra $50 yearly. I would recommend staying away and waiting for the upcoming Razer Kishi V2 (has a free app called Razer Nexus).

Man I had no idea cloud play was a thing for Xbox thanks man my dads getting me one of these controllers and thought to my self I can play iOS games and had no clue Ab cloud play.

The Backbone One is quite amazing. Once you connect your iPhone, it feels like one solid unit. I have Delta (an emulator that does NES, SNES, GBA, DS, N64, etc) and PPSSPP (a PSP emu) installed on my iPhone and I'll use those 2 emus to play some retro classics, but then I can jump into some XBOX cloud gaming and play current games like Halo Infinite, Back 4 Blood, Forza, Hades, etc, at 100% speed for everything!

I’m honestly so surprised how they’re even allowed to have such tight integration without being a first party Apple product. Apple almost always forces 3rd parties into using a workaround resulting in a less user friendly experience to prop up their own products (even the Xbox app gotta be a workaround lol)

I have the Android equivalent the Razor Kishi which I too highly recommend. Streaming is cool when the signal and connection is good. However, if the connection is not good with the Wifi your experience won't be as good. It is cool to use as well with games that are downloaded and loaded on the phone.

It’s incredible how far gaming has come. Why buy a console when you can just attach this controller . Saving money big time. A console in your hands, amazing. Def getting this and nice vid 👍🏻

With the newest iphone coming out soon, it would run all the games crazy good especially being the second year being able to play triple A games
