HOW TO WELD PIPE FENCE // LET’S TALK RODS + PASSES
In this video, I’m taking you along for a day with me on a custom pipe fence job. I’m Austin Ross and on this channel, I share my experiences as a rig welder and what I have going on in my own mobile welding business. We talk specifics on welded pipe fence and welding pipe fence with stick. As a fence contractor, you can build pipe fence and custom fence many different ways. Probably the two most popular ways are like we did there or make saddle pipe fitting. Rather you are welding pipe saddles, fishmouth weld or cutting into post the weld out process is similar. The old retired welder, going threw some old video's lol I knew you ironed your own shirts I used sta-flo they was so stiff they would stand up by themself see I had a stroke they found a blood clot on my brain it affected my left side the funny thing is I was left handed I was one hell of welder now I can't even write my name you bring back a lot of memories waiting on some new videos of my fence lol

Man that's a lot of welding, but looks just like mine when I use to weld em, mild steel uphill or down hill maybe even one sml pass with 3/32 7018 but to each his own but I love your work you remind me of my self a long time ago stay safe

I built a small fence like this, I used 7014 because it lays down so nice and flat.
