Having child actors is equivalent to child labour. Especially if they do it in major roles and/ or regularly in shows, sequels etc. They should be guarded against the loss of childhood.

The sad truth is he’s right.

But to be honest, you can protect your children. Look up Brett Cooper. Her mother allowed her to act and be in plays as a child. She also put her in woman’s self defense classes starting at an extremely young age. Her mother didn’t allow her to do anything Disney and never allowed her to go or be with anyone alone ever. For that her daughter lost SO MANY OPPORTUNITIES. But, more importantly, her daughter didn’t loose her soul.

The only reason she allowed her daughter to attempt to go into showbiz was because her older son had committed suicide. After that, she vowed to never hinder her children from reaching any goal, even if she didn’t agree with it.

All these kid actors at least most of them grew up to be kinda messed up and didn’t really make it in a adult acting as good as when they were kids, for example the kid in home alone like that’s a prime example of what I’m speaking on and there are many more… plus most of the time their parents would keep all of their earnings and money they made from doing films and shows which is messed up as they deserve that money and earned it and it should be saved for them until they reach adulthood at least the majority of it…
