PHP Lesson 6 - Using HTML Tags for Formatting

When you need to add formatting to the code in PHP you can use HTML formatting tags such as br, p, strong, etc. The only trick to it is that you will need to place the tag in an ECHO statement in order for it to pass through the PHP code.

As far a logo, I often times have my students go to a site like cooltext.com to start, but then after they learn Adobe software they usually stick with that. You can add backgounds, pictures, etc using html. Just put the php delimiter in the body section of the php page and be sure it is saved with the .php extension

Absolutely, I would not recommend using a weak password for MySQL. Essentially what you would need to do is open port 80 in your router and forward traffic on that port to your computer.

Just wondering are you going to be showing use how to do color backgrounds, how to put pictures onto our site, how to put videos on there as well. Could you recommend a piece of software which will allow you to make your own logo.

If it is offline then you should not be able to generate a webpage. You will still have access to the physical files on your server in the web folder but the webserver service should not provide those files to the web.
