The Brexit was a big mistake, glad to see The UK considering to join the single market then eventually join the EU.Hopefully after the next election the UK will join the single market and then rejoin the EU, after that scrap the NHS replace it with private health insurances, make the pensions wage related. control the second House ownership so they either rent out the property or pay a hefty price to keep it empty, employ more German managers for their skills on how to export.

What specifically does the UK require from rejoining the "single market" that it doesn't already get from existing WTO/GATT arrangements and the Trade and Cooperation Agreement?

Why would the UK want to give up the enhanced intellectual property protections in the strategically critical Asia Pacific region afforded to us by our imminent CPTPP accession and portfolio of new international trade agreements?

The UK now has something with the EU27 vassals that the EU27 vassals do not even have with each other : Free Trade without the obligation to hand over exclusive and immutable legislative and judicial powers and billions a year to Brussels. So why would we want to give up this position?

The obligations of the 'single market" would require us scrapping our newly adopted meritocratic immigration policy that selects exclusively according to capability and character regardless of where in the world someone comes from, increasing the quality of our workforce ( more of the non-EU STEM professionals we do need, less of the low intellect EU wage slaves we don't) and transitively increasing per capita revenue for the exchequer and the quality of our public services and infrastructure. Why would we want to give this up.

There doesn't appear to be any argument here.

Brexiteer here, but we have to face facts and not make this out to be a religion, Brexit can be negotiated better whilst staying out the EU.

It's not like being out of the EU has helped us take back control of our borders is it, so you're going to find most people take an apathetic view to the single market. If you want to avoid this you might want to focus on making Brexit appear a success with visible reductions in the numbers crossing the channel (which is the tip of the iceberg). Love him or loathe him, Nigel Farage is a household name in this country, arguably the only one outside the Party leaders who is, and that's the kind of brand recognition the Reform party needs to gain any kind of traction.

It seems to me you overestimated your own importance and value to European Union, UK done nothing to sabotage and burn bridges (their meps including Farage ) between those nations so they would kick you themselves if they have reason to do it , and I'm sure nothing could give so much pleasure . But hey you left by your self to commit economical suicide even when you were warned that for such decision you have more time and careful planing (those decades of trade deals rules and regulations, business partners can't be achieved in single transition year, and there's only one way of exit out of eu by being 3rd country, so at least you can make sure to solve regulations setback , and maybe to see if they can make exception for you by giving you some sort of the EFTA deal like Canada, but what did politicians like Farage did simply stuck fingers in their ears and yell llalaa can't hear you ) good luck than wish you all the best in your future business endeavours.
