What should I do if my camera goes offline

I don't recommend any of these Ezviz cameras. The Ezviz WiFi cameras consistently malfunction. I laid network cables to the cameras due to these offline issues, but it didn't resolve the problem. Even with a cable connection, there is no way to recover the offline cameras. Just imagine, the cameras are fixed in a high place, and removing them each time to reset is not possible. No other reset options are provided, thus costing me thrice for installing and removing cameras to address these issues.

We have an Ezviz doorbell camera. It goes offline regularly, even if our wifi is otherwise ok. If we are away or out when it goes offline it cannot be reset. If can reset it, you need to remove the front panel which is held on by the world’s smallest screws before it can be reset. If you do reset it you lose the separate mechanical chime if fitted. So you have to delete the device a d reinstall it each time. Its a pain. I certainly would not consider any further Ezviz cameras if they have to be constantly reset, a real nuisance if they are mounted at height.

In short they should be able to auto reconnect if they go offline (like all the other devices we have that rely on wifi). Its a total faff otherwise and very hard to recommend.

Not recommended to buy ever! Not worth the money or time wasted to climb up each time and do this. Something malfunctions consistently. No one should put this much effort to maintain a security camera.

My cameras also go offline at least once a week and then a camera restart is required. If you have 8 cameras then you are guaranteed to have one offline every day which can get annoying. The wifi signal is really strong to all the cameras. I'm sure it drops the wifi for a split second because of interference or something and then it cant recover without restarting it. I read somewhere that the solution for one guy was to have timers on the plugs which restarted the cameras once a day. I really wish that a firmware update can resolve this issue.

I don't recommend it, pressing the reset button all the time is stupid, don't you ever think that cctv is installed 5 metres above you?

Im having a problem with this each time i reset the wifi its successful but when i reset the configuration network it does not flash blue no matter how many times i try it.

Yesterday i left home andmy camera rotated to the wall. Can my phone be hacked and being use by someone else. The landlord was at the house fixing things. He does have keys for the rooms and im using his wifi. Is tgere something open that he could get access to control my camera inside my room. Last year when i just moved in i went on my trip and while i was on my trip i noticed the samething like yesterday. While i was on my trip i showed my cousin my camera position inside my room . Can i be hacked using the landlord wifi or him get control of my cameras throw his wifi. He knows whenever i leve because he has camera in the home

Please dont recommend wifi ezviz camera all are worst....
You face big problems and dont buys any camera...its worst than mobile camera....
