DELTARUNE - Vs. Susie Remix [Kamex]

Susie's battle theme also grew on me just like Chaos King's did after remixing them... Oh oops I may have spoiled Friday's upload hehe

So for those who may not know, I'm a huuuuge fan of Jet Set Radio and their soundtrack and Hideki Naganuma is someone I'd love to work my style towards one day, so I thought why not experiment with this song? Sure It may be my second attempt (The first one being a commission that may be uploaded sometime in the future) but It was definitely fun to do while not so accurate. I'll get it right one day, haha.

This was incredibly fun to do since it had quite a few of my favorite things, DnB (in breakbeat form this time) breaks everywhere, Guitars, Funky Basslines and real drumkit sounds. I've spent a whole day trying to get this right and not gonna lie it led to some frustrations especially due to how stubborn shreddage 2 was with switching between power chords and single notes. ughhhh it got me mad just thinking about it. In fact, the outro is supposed to have power chords but instead it decided to give me single notes so I gave up. Screw you shreddage, you're awesome but such a pain in the butt sometimes.

I've been listening to this particular remix for a while now. I love the energy in it, the changes and updates from the original that feels so much more than a simple instrument swap that I hear in other remix attempts. There are so many changes to this song that it definitely feels like a standalone remix. So much love for this. Thank you for the remix!

I gotta say, this is easily my favorite version of this song. Better than the original and every other remix/ cover out there. That part where melody kicks in has so much punch, which is amazing.
Also, that part where Undyne's melody kicks in is a really nice touch. This is really good.
