To speed up the spacing process. We use a block on top and bottom attached to a picket. Just sit against the previous one and top and bottom are spaced perfectly at the same time. I can install one in less than 2 seconds each.

Thanks for the review. A straight 2x4 the length of your baluster held at the same time would remove the multiple adjustment steps of gapping the top, then bottom, then top again. Crown out and compress it plumb. Just a thought. Nothing wrong with your method, just seeing a way to speed it up a bit. I was here for the tool in motion, and got what I came for. Thanks again!! I've been kicking around replacing my corded Senco Collated gun with this one but I wasn't sure how the torque would be for driving 2 1/2" deck screws. Looks like it is going to sink them just fine. By the way, a standard strip of screws (Either Senco or the Grip Fast ones that Menards sells) is 50 screws.

So this could be used for boarding fences too?! Game changer if so. What about the strips of screws? They come preloaded or you have to load your screws into the strips yourself?
