Those weren't drywall screws that were in it. I could see someone who installs decks for a living using this tool a lot. I wonder roughly how many screws it could drive on one charge.

Definitely a good buy. I have the corded version with the extension so you don't have to bend over. It's great for decking and sub floors.

Over the past 12 years I have had various versions of this, including their 18v cordless Nicad version.  Unless you need the 3 inch capacity and the cordless, stick with the SENCO DS235-AC, 1-2 inch screws. It spins at 5000 rpm, holds its speed better and is only $150.  For cordless if you have makita batteries look at their cordless version.

I could've used that thing 10 years ago when I built my deck and manually stuck each deck screw on the board and then screwed them in with my old Dewalt cordless drill.  Did I mention that it was about 3000 screws and went thru a kizzillion bits.  Good review.

I like this screwgun. If the battery is any good, id like to buy one. Too many times....me and my co workers holding up a 12 ft piece of drywall with our heads, and trying to get some screws in it in a hurry..lol. Good review!!

Bigger jobs, mre guys and like Eric & Dan said the corded screw guns locked on & feed screws by hand. You can't beat having a collated cordless as a one man crew on the smaller jobs like the homeowner basements etc. You're gonna pay a little more for the screws... but freeing up an arm to hold the board up? Those screw clips are way cheaper than having to pay a helper!

Too bad, they came out so late with the 3in screw feature. It would have been nice when top screwing decking but now with most people going with hidden fasteners you cannot use it. It is a good tool for drywall.

If you need a screw gun every once in awhile but not all the time I would go with the corded vision of this tool. It's really price is really affordable.

My boss has one similar to this but he claims the screws for this are too expensive and he can get loose screws and factor in the extra time and its still cheaper.

That's insane totally worth the the money in my opinion if the batteries last. Do they make any other tools?

Invention idea...make a collated screw system that is detachable for any cordless drill. That way people don't need 2 tools to do 2 jobs, they just need a drill.

I can see how this would come in very handy.

Hi Dan and Eric, just like to say your video's are awesome, great tool fight, been waiting to see these two up against each other for a while. I'm am a 2nd year apprentice joiner from Scotland and am currently looking into buying the new brushless Dewalt XR/XRP Impact and Hammer drill combo, however they are not out until the beginning of March. Could you please tell me why Dewalt only have 18V brushless tools on the UK market and why there are no 20V in the UK? I am going to purchase the Dewalt XR 18V circular saw and jigsaw, however they are are not brushless like the Impact and Hammer drill, do you know if Dewalt will be releasing new any more 'Brushless' tools to their XR range (Circular saw and Jigsaw). Basically I'm asking should I just buy the current XR non brushless Jigsaw and circular saw now, or wait until/if they release brushless versions. Apologies for the long comment, your advice would be much appreciated. Thank you
