should I fear my God? or myself? or is it the same

I feel like God or the divine source is pure love and fear is almost the opposite. Lately ive been conceptualizing my state of being as either being in a state of love or in a state of fear. I like the simplicity of it and it keeps me from worrying or feeling anxious.

I think alot of times our ideas about God are just projections of our own constructs. The "fear of god" stuff is from religion some of the times I think. When it comes down to what path you're going down, being honest with yourself and listening to what your soul is really saying can help lead you to the path you wish to follow. It's the truest voice you have.

Fear of wasting tim has to be one of my biggest. I think thats a healthy fear. So relatable!

Agree. I don’t fear God. I suppose there are biblical passages that may lead some people to fear God but I don’t take the Bible literally in that manner.
I do more fear myself and making decisions counter to the life I want to live and the person I want to be. We absolutely can be our own worst enemies. Each day is an opportunity to take positive steps toward becoming the better person God sees within us.
