This BYU Football Feels Different

BYU football has taken the college football world by storm in 2024. Nobody saw the Cougars being alone a top the BIG12 standing at the beginning of November. But this team doesn't care about any preseason rankings, any negative stereotypes, or AP votes. They just keep winning. But ahead of them is hurdles BYU hasn't cleared in 18 years. And that hurdle is beating the Utes, in Salt Lake.

This video has aged well! No sarcasm! Just watched it in light of BYU's victory. This was a great retrospective, complete with film from those previous infamous and epic rivalry matchups. Other YouTubers and commentators talk about some of these moments, but they only talk, failing to show the full and expansive list of crazy, heartstopping finishes. Lending your explanation and providing a voice over the clips of footage from each of those coronary-inducing finishes from yesteryear was far above any other videos I've seen this past 2 weeks, and most of those were from professional outlets who just dont put in the work. Thank you! Keep up the elite work. Your channel feels different, just like this BYU team this season, up to this point anyway. Lets hope they can manage to win their next 5 matches. All their remaining matches might be asking too much, but the next 5 would be amazing.

I agreed with the “throw out the record” storyline for a week and a half. But then BYU debuted at #9. And if we have learned anything this year, it’s that a disrespected Cougar is a vitriolic Cougar. 34-13, and Utah can blame the committee for giving BYU the needed fuel.

I first attended BYU in the 70s and since then I have been pissed off bummed out, let down so many times when the cougars lost games they were supposed to win and managed to find ways to choke in the last minute or two, that I do not dare get excited about this team. Only when and if they get to the end of the season at 12 and 0 will I really start to have hope. It’s just what we call. Cougar choke conditioning.
