How To Easily Install Change Replace Map Dome Interior Light Bulb on Ford Mustang Car 2005-2009 DIY

On my Ford Mustang 2008 I add dome push button lamp bulb inside interior. I show you quick and easy remove, replace, change, installation, instructions and review. Automobile model years: 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. I used Sylvania 2825 LL (long life) miniature bulbs. 🚘

Mustangs: 05, 06, 07, 08, 09 S197 fifth generation. Same for V6, V8, GT, Cobra, Shelby or Pony Edition. Years 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 might have minor differences when installing.

LED bulbs are white, bright and last longer than factory stock OEM. Other Aftermarket Brands: Bosch, Champion, Philips and Sylvania LL (long life) miniature bulbs are similar installation for your American muscle car.

Thanks! I thought I had to pull that entire “box” down but didn’t want to break it if I was wrong! 🤣😜 It is impossible to just pull the bulbs out of the socket after taking the clear lens off. Lol Thanks for showing me the way!

For anyone doing this on a 2017, BE CAREFUL. When I pulled down on mine, I ended up breaking it. The housing has plastic tabs on both sides that go into metal clips. The metal clips go into slots on the body of the car. It is VERY EASY to break those plastic tabs, as they will give a lot easier than the metal clips. I ended up having to buy a replacement on eBay. Word to the wise. Be cautious removing it.
