Cutest, Fluffiest, Softest Animal: The Chinchilla

Do you know what the world's fluffiest animal is? Find out in this video! Chinchillas have the densest fur of all land animals with 50-80 hairs growing from each follicle whereas most mammals only have 1-3 per follicle. This is what makes them so soft!

I got to add 'Pet a Chinchilla' to my Reverse FulList and it is indeed the softest thing I have ever felt. They are so so fluffy and it was amazing to run my fingers through their fur. I don't think I would ever get one as a 20 year commitment for a rodent is a long time, but I will gladly visit friends who own chinchillas anytime!
