Shel, i think it would be interesting to interview some people who still live within the culture, who are also moving towards more autonomy, and navigating the complex dynamic of self expression and choice while staying within these societies. I think it has alot of value to the audience, and can speak to alot of peoples struggles.

I used to work with all men in construction. I was like a fly on the wall as they forgot I was there. Women have no idea what their husbands are up to and how the men around the cheaters support them, laugh it up, slap them on the back. I've seen a girlfriend show up at lunch and later on the wife shows up to pick up the pay check. The other guys treated him like a celebrity for this.
