This "red dragon" located on the bridge leading to the Undead Burg is a real pain in the ass. I went back for this optional fight when I was strong enough to survive his savage fire attacks and be able to kill im in a few hits. But still, this fight is very strange. You have to make him come down in the first place, and he just won't stand still an not breath fire at you for one second. So be sure to wear your most fire resistant gear.
I also cut off his tail (00:46), but I already shot it off before for getting the Drake Sword.

This is some bullshit.... In my game, you can't run towards the wyvern. As soon as the fire clears from his last breath he is ready to do it again. So I don't know how in the hell you managed to run under him. Secondly, when I came from the other way and was under him he just flew away. This is some janky ass bullshit

when I do get him on the bridge I get 3 hits in before he flies up and insta kills me
