I was thinking my 2600x is fine and i was gonna try to get a better graphics card and keep the 2600x. After watching this I think i was correct. The 2600x does a good job and its not worth the upgrade. Ill focus on a better graphics card, if we could ever get one. Thanks for the video, you confirmed what I was thinking.

I still run a 2600X CPU, B350-M Asus borad, and a Zotac GTX 1060 6gb GPU with the basic single fan variant, 16 gb Kingston HyperX ram with 2400mhz speed, a cheap Seasonic 600+ watts non-modular power supply, 1 normall hdd and 1 cheap kingston ssd. It's been years, I even forgot when did I built it. Like 2018. It's really long time ago. It's open literally 24/7 because it's my home-office PC i use for cad, 3d modeling and rendering (I'm Architect). I game from time to time, it can run all modern games if you want.
It runs great till now and I don't feel the need to upgrade one bit.

Those ASUS boards are tough and long lasting, i got the :TUF B350-M Plus Gaming" variant, I don't remember it restarting, failing, or turning off by itself. Unlike the previous pc board I have (gigabyte board with intel i7 cpu, which shuts off by itself on idle). I know it was the gigabyte board, since the PSU is what i re-used to my current ryzen build. My Ryzen CPU is cooled by a basic DEEPCOOL heatsink with single 120mm fan, my PC case is a Cooler Master Q300P.

How are you getting those frames with the 2600x? I’m running the 3600 and a 5700xt and it barely pushes past 100fps 1080p high. Cold War it does fine getting 165+FPS

For 1440p I wonder if it'd even be worth upgrading to the 5600x if you already have a 2600 or 2600x

In 1440p no visible.... Therefore I keep the 2600 🤷

O mais importante é que o Ryzen 2600x segura 60 FPS em 98% dos jogos, isso é o que basta para mim.

2600x is very good cpu, for normal playing on 1080p good match for him is a RTX 2060/super or RTX 2070/super, you can play many games with this configuration even on 1440p with max settings, but there is no sense to pair this cpu with expensive newest high end GPUs like 3060ti or higher, because 2600x is to slow for that.
In any other case 99% of today games works smooth on 60fps in 1080p with this configuration, graphic settings high or ultra, depends on the title.
I used this configuration RTX 2060super and 2600x for two years and i was very happy with it, still have it but because i playing in 4k now im using Ryzen Threadripper 3990x paired with RTX 3090, but never regret it for buying 2600x it's a very good bang for the buck even now in 2021.
