Ryzen 5 2600 vs Ryzen 5 2600X vs i5 12400F

In this video, I'm benchmarking the AMD Ryzen 5 2600 vs the AMD Ryzen 5 2600X vs the Intel i5 12400F in 2024 in different games. The Ryzen 5 2600 is already almost 5 years old, but it still holds up pretty good, even in recent games. The Ryzen 5 2600 has 6 cores and 12 threads, has a TDP of 65W, has a frequency of 3.4 GHz and a turbo frequency of 3.9 GHz. In my opinion, the Ryzen 5 2600X is a pretty good CPU to game on in 2024. Especially when you can find one for a great price in combination with an AM4 motherboard. In my opinion, you can still use this CPU for a couple more years for standard 1080p(/1440p) gaming. The Intel i5 12400F came out in 2022, it has 6 cores with 12 threads and runs on the LGA 1700 socket. It has a frequency of 2.5GHz and a turbo frequency of 4.40GHz with a TDP of 117W. It uses 10nm cpu technology and can use DDR4 and DDR5. In this video, DDR4 RAM is used.
