Building Resilience to the Climate Crisis: Introducing RESIST
Показать описание
The RESIST Project emerged from the need to build climate resilience in regions across Europe.
In this video, we delve into the four leading EU regions and the eight twinned regions that respectively form the RESIST Project: Southwest Finland, Central Denmark, Catalonia and Central Portugal; Normandy (France), Eastern Macedonia and Thrace (Greece), Blekinge (Sweden), Zemgale (Latvia), Puglia (Italy), Baixo Alentejo (Portugal), Vesterålen (Norway), Extremadura (Spain). Each region represents a unique socioeconomic profile and faces different climate challenges.
The RESIST Project brings together diverse stakeholders, including civil society, businesses, policymakers and researchers to collaborate and co-create resilience strategies. By fostering knowledge exchange and utilising immersive digital twin technology, RESIST aims to transfer expertise and adaptation pathways from the demonstrator regions to eight twinned regions fostering mutual learning and collective action through graphical digital twin technology.
