Chelsea's vocals are perfect for that last track.

Dave Turncrantz (the drummer) is all the more amazing because he uses such a basic, stripped-down drum kit. He gets so much out of it based upon pure skill. He just has one kick drum, one snare, one tom, and a floor tom (in addition to the high hat & 3 cymbals). Unbelievable. I've never seen anybody get so much out of such a simple set-up (since Ringo Starr).

This is seriously with out a single fucking doubt in my mind. no fuck that my soul the best thing I have ever heard... It's so rare to find something this epic in this generation anymore.

Share my thoughts huh? Well I think that no matter what, Is that this band, this music, this universal language that these 3 amazingly gifted people create is nothing short of mind blowing material. As a musician myself of 16 years and have played every type of music, guitar. bass, drums and vocals, It is bands like this that show such an explosive variety of sound. To show no limits. Of course people will think differently. I ask you one thing. Listen to every single album that this band has created. And THEN show how you feel. And for that matter do it to all of YO?UR favorite bands and then see what your own outcome is. I bet that saddly alot of people judge a book by its cover. Just something to think about. And if you are listening to this while reading this comment and enjoying every moment, you are now starting to realize what amazing music is out there. There are no limits. Everything is vibration, always remember that. Right down to the atoms that create the ability to be here, alive and breathing to read this post.

These are MY thoughts.

Hands down, best three piece of our generation. Such a powerful sound when you see them live. Beauty in simplicity.

this genre is just fucking versatile. burial sounds like fucking black metal and still retain the post metal/rock style.

The drums really do it for me. It's all great but the drums just have that extra something that puts it over the top.

I might've only discovered Russian Circles recently but I pretty much became an instant fan. I'm off to lose myself in this album and then the others they've done. :)

By far one of the best instrumental albums out there, in the metal genre.  And one of my faves.  LOVE this album.  Buy it, support them.

Definitely going to listen to this band more. They use harmonic progressions that are rare to come across in popular music. Maybe in film music. Structure is also interesting, such as the sudden taking of the lead by drums around 13:20 (1777)... Nice, nice.

I'm not a big fan of instrumental music, but this is fucking awesome. Reminds me again that all genres can be fun to listen to when done in a creative way. Congratulations.

As I believe someone else stated earlier, the transition from "Memoriam" to "Deficit" is epic. It's like Satan just overtook the beautiful, harmless world we were listening to in "Memoriam" at the beginning of "Deficit" (just an expression).

I want the first two minutes of Deficit to be playing at my funeral when they lower the casket.

With their seemingly endless adverts YouTube ruins the exact moment that track 1 ends and track 2 blasts in.
