- 90% of tracks being bangers

And Super Mario Kart was the first with drift boosting, but it had one boost level and was hard to pull off. It charged like in Super Circuit, but with no animation, only a sound. Coins were in Super Circuit too.

My fav. is still MK Wii. It cames out when I was younger and more time with a great community yes, but the main thing is: it's faster and you get fair items. Not a Willi or a star for the 5th place. You can get the first place, but in deluxe, you get good items when you in the front

Double dash felt so good because it felt harder than a lot of the other games. The controls felt more touchy. And the battle mode was great. I’m not sure if Double Dash or Wii was my favorite.

Super Mario Kart at #11 is unforgivable

Mario Kart 7 was my childhood. I first got the game in 2015 and had lots offun with it. Mario Kart DS was very unique with the mission modes that had a chance to make a return in Mario Kart Wii but sadly, they didn't. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is extreamly fun expecially with the DLC tracks. Nintendo could have at least added New Battle Courses in the game.

The OG is actually pretty awesome... if you develop your skill. I literally beat each cup on 150cc as mini (1st place each race) when I was just a kid.

#1 will always be Double Dash for me. The switching drivers was so great, and the stages were amazing, and your drifting skills really mattered!

These lists will never not have bias linked into them, because realistically Double Dash, Wii, 7, and 8 are the best due to the mechanics they introduced, but when it comes to actual gameplay which is opinionated, I still don’t think Wii and Double Dash have been beat

MK64 is and probably will be my all time favorite. I totally disagree that it doesn’t hold up today. I love that in that game you can take sharp turns by rapidly hopping…and the string of bananas! By the end the course was littered in peels. So much fun!
