Questions :
1. 12" ×12" column needs how many 16mm or 20mm deformed bar?
2. Beam: 14" (inch) dropped X 12" wide 25 ft long beam needs how many 16mm or 20 mm bars ?
3. Practical Senerio to be considered 6 storied structure

4. 10 storied structure

Depth of the 'beam' between the columns will increase on increasing the column to column distance. Dimensions of the column will also increase

Depth of column is different from cross section of column.Proper use of terminology is very important in videos being watched by general public.

There are numerous halls having span of more than 30, 40 fts So what will happen to safety of these halls in your opinion. Which design principle have fixed such distance of 5m or 7.5m . Our IS code permit every span provided span/depth ratio, deflection criteria is fulfilled.
