Stupidest ticket I ever got - "Windows won't open."
After going to her desk 3 times and Windows was fine, and she was working. Well, working like an average government employee. I kept missing her, and she left 2 more tickets saying the same thing right after I closed them. She finally caught me walking by her desk with a bunch of files. She stopped me and started yelling that I kept closing the tickets, but the problem wasn't fixed!
Aggravated, I said, "Show me."
She walked right past her computer and pointed to the actual building windows, and said they don't open!
I threw all of the papers in the air and stormed out mumbling something about government workers.
The windows don't even open! At least 20 or so government employees had to see her doing this (15 minus the sleeping ones)and said nothing, not wanting to interrupt their Solitaire game! 🙄. She was moved to a new building fast and I don't know why. Maybe we had "horror story rules" and she broke - Don't piss off the IT guy on your first day! Or maybe - "There are stupid questions, don't ask them."
