Thank you!! I cringe when I see people put rabbits in the "small pet" category; they live a long time and require so much work!! While rats, hamsters, and other small pets require more care than people expect, even their proper care isn't on the level of what a rabbit needs; my bunnies take more work than my dog. I love my bunnies so so much, they are my babies; but they do their best to destroy everything I own 😅😅

I rescued my rabbit from a shelter exactly a year ago. I am in college and he is my ESA and I can say he has had a big (paw?) in saving my life. He is my best friend and I could not describe how thankful I am that I made that decision. Since he is a rescue, he is very timid and doesn't even like being pet, but we are working on it, but also not forcing it. He will gladly take treats, so positive reinforcement is key. Thank you for such an informative video. I make sure that any friends considering a rabbit understand that it is not the same as a hamster or dog or cat, but also a great addition to your life if you are in the right circumstances!

Hi from Melbourne Australia- I have a 3-1/2 year old Netherlands Dwarf doe, she lives inside and has free rein of my home and backyard. I have a small veggie patch which she takes great delight in nibbling. And I don’t mind at all, she also seems to love eating marigold leaves, which surprised me and does not have issues. I am a 72 year old widow so she gives me great pleasure. Thanks for your very informative video.

The cutest of those babies are out of control!! ADORABLE!!! No wonder people grab them at pet store without knowing all the details. I've been doing my homework for 2 weeks and my bunny comes on Sunday after he recovers from being neutered! So excited!

One day, when I'm more financially stable, I'd love to get a Holland Lop for my first bunny and possibly a Netherland Dwarf for a second. I'd like to get already fixed adults as my first bunnies so I don't have to go through the more trying young bunny period as a new owner. I would consider adopting from a shelter. I was hoping to only have one bunny for a few months before I got the second so I'm happy you suggested this! It would give me time to adjust to caring for my bunny, get to know my new pet and also give the new bunny time to adjust as well before throwing another bunny into the mix on top of the move, new routine and owner change. I decided on the Holland Lop as my first bunny as I've read they're generally a little calmer than Netherlands. Not sure if there's any truth to this or how likely a Netherland and Holland would be to bond, based on breed alone. I just love both breeds, it's hard for me to pick between the two.

This is so awesome. I have mentioned here that I have been in rabbit rescue for over a decade. I see the consequences of situations of people who DO NOT follow your recommendations. This is so timely with the Easter season approaching. In the rescue world we call this time the "Easter Massacre" because of the hormonal changes ... it is a radical. The rabbit is suddenly abandoned and mistreated. THANK you. Nose bonks! 🐰🐰🐰🐰

Timmie the snugglebunny. Thank you for making this. I have seen so many bunnies in shelters because the owners didnt know how much is needed in their care. To me it's worth the work to have a bunny. I love all bunnies. 💗 I have had Flemish Giant and Lop.

Hi
First of all i would like to thank u from the bottom of my heart for such a wonderful video
Am planning to buy a bunny for me and was searching on the net for some information on caring the pet. This video gave me a lot more than what i wanted... it was really informative..
I was searching for videos from indians but found only from breeders or pet stores goving tips for bunny breeding business. Very few videos had info in pet bunnies but all of them have their pets outdoor. Am staying in an apartment and wants to get a bunny to stay with us indoors.
Wen i asked a fee of my friends they said bunnies eat cabbage leaves, carrot, green grass and all vegetarian food cooked at home including rice. This video cleared all my doubts and gave a real idea of how to take care of my new family member. I have 3 kids and am training and teaching them how to behave and also what will the bunny expect from us. I often see here that kids carry bunnies by their ears and walk around and pet them. Now onlyni realise that bunnies dont like to be carried. Likewise so many myths have been clearly explained....
thanks a lot once again

Ps... u have suh cute bunnies... and u r such a lovely pet owner... God bless you and ur bunnies!!!!

Keep up the good work!!

I wish this video had been out a few months earlier! It definitely would have educated me on bunnies. I’m so happy to have adopted my two year old but it’s a bit annoying when you have hay allergies and that Timothy hay smells so good!

Thank you for this video! This video was very informative for new bunny parents like us. My daughter and I watched until the end if you should know. I also shared your videos friends and family on Facebook in case they are interested on getting a bunny as I found your video to be informative and helpful.

Please give me tips
