Speaking at the Carter Jonas Game Fair Theatre at the end of July 2024 are Countryside Alliance chief executive Tim Bonner, farmer and former MP Neil Parish, who used to chair the EFRA committee at Westminster, and first up is Christopher Graffius, who runs communications and public affairs at BASC.

If we had stood together twenty years ago we might have stood a chance. But we didn’t the hunting fishing and shooting community’s were back stabbing each other. Like some in the fishing community saying they didn’t like hunting with dogs and some people in the shooting community were of the same opinion . I had first hand experience of this when following the Michael Foster ban hunting Bus all around the north west. And it didn’t help when the master of fox Hounds saying they didn’t recognise none registered packs or as they call them pirate packs . We are all under attack from people who disagree with what all of us do.

Stalmer “ walks on water” ! What a difference a fortnight makes!
If we think they won’t come after all of us, we are being deluded!!

BASC needs to make sure the deregulation of sound moderators proposed at the tail end of the last government goes through - would be a shame to lose this common sense reform

Trail hunting is suffering from years of influential people in the hunting lobby publicly putting 2 fingers up at the law and coming up with novel and oh so hilarious work rounds against the piss-poor legislation brought in by Blair in 2004. Is it any wonder that those politicians that would ban hunting are now coming back to close the loop hole?
Tim Bonner is correct on this one and lawfare will be rolled out and then the slippery slope will become a vertical cliff and we will all suffer.
