It is amazing how something that was told to us so many years ago can still have an impact on our lives. It is too bad that your teachers didn't try to lift you up, and instead kept you down. Little did they know you would become such a positive influence on so many people's lives. You do great work, and I hope that the positive feedback you receive will help you see that. I know its hard, but try to ignore any negative comments you receive, some people thrive on bringing others down. My mom was/is a massive hoarder and it took me like a decade after becoming an adult of slowly learning to not be that way myself. It was a gradual thing and even today I have to remind myself not to hoard clothes and things. This year my mom has finally started her journey of cleaning up and I've been helping as much as she allows/asks. I know it's not something you can push on someone, they need to be ready to change and be genuinely sick of the clutter themselves.

Barbi, remember we are here because we LIKE YOU SO MUCH! And you’re right, there’s only so many ways to sweep or pick up dirty clothes off the floor. But it’s still NOT boring. We, your subscribers love cleaning videos for lots of reasons. For me, it’s motivating. And I love the before and after. I find it so satisfying to watch the transition. And she needs the help obviously. I’m sure she’s just completely overwhelmed. It’s a hard learning curve to live on your own, be responsible for your home, and bills and then add a little one to that mix. For older people those things are challenging. So don’t worry about us being bored. We are NOT. And don’t speed it up too fast. And I think the perfect video length is around 40-45 minutes. Otherwise you just get comfy and it’s over! Lol.

I love your videos. I am a very good cleaner too. I have just found a job cleaning air BnBs. I am 65 years old and I have not worked since 1986. I stayed home to raise my family, but I am now divorced. I have no education to speak of, and no real skills other than cleaning. Lucky for me I know how to clean, so I can now support myself. I am proud of myself and you should be proud of yourself too. You have a kind heart and you help so many people. You are an inspiration to all of us.

Being a cleaner is very taxing on your body and mind..and not everyone can do it.
I've been cleaning for 35 years and I'm still cleaning. I love my job and I love helping people. I think if you love your work, it's not work at all. I think it's bad for people to think cleaners aren't smart ..we are smart and can work through your problems with cleaning and organizing your home.

I've never worked as a professional cleaner, but in every job I've ever had the one thing that got me rave reviews was my ability to clean and organize. I'd get a job working in an office and my main job wasn't cleaning and organizing, but after a time the boss realized the office was working much smoother because I put in place certain practices that kept the work environment tidy. Never underestimate the importance of being an organizer, it was always appreciated in any job I had.
