Thanks James!

A word on the smooth power delivery: SmartCarbs are single circuit carburetors. The fueling is controlled by a single circuit idle to WOT using a metering rod which means there are no transitions between multiple circuits (pilot, main, needle) like in the Keihin or other conventional carbs. You get one smooth, linear, fuel curve designed specifically for the fueling needs and combustion efficiency of your 300 2T, or any other 2T we equip. All you have to do is adjust it for the best idle and off idle response using the top clicker - takes seconds to do trailside. The specific grind of the metering rod and the SmartCarb’s integrated float bowl venting handle fueling through the mid to top.

Regarding the power, smoother doesn’t necessarily mean less. The “hit” of the Keihin is just one way to perceive it - how we feel it while riding and for most people it’s a familiar thing they’ve experienced on their bikes for years. With the SmartCarb you’re getting the same grunt, only it’s smoothed out. The claimed power gains present themselves in other more telling ways, like being able to run taller gearing, short shifting, tractoring through in a higher gear than you could before, and of course by throwing the bike on the dyno.

It’s worth noting that Cody and Keith both used the SmartCarb in competition throughout this last AMA Extreme season.

We believe that this fuel system rivals FI, or more specifically TPI/TBI in terms of performance, fuel economy, and ease of use. Stay tuned while we continue to prove that out!

I put a Smart Carb on my Sherco 300 as well. I played the tuning game with my OEM Kehin and tho I feel it was good, the SC2 was hands down better. Butter smooth bottom end and nice linear transition to the top end while losing nothing over the Kehin. In fact I'd bet the power increased everywhere in the rpm range. It's a cleaner setup and range should be better but I cannot confirm that. I really like the exterior adjustability. It's been set since installed and never needed to be touched again regardless of temperature or altitude. I love mine!

Put a 36 sc2 on my 2019 Beta 300RR race, love it. Much better range, no loss of bottom end power that seems to come with the Lectrons. In fact I think it may have a little more botton end hit now. Just got my ticket, should look bitchin next to my 300 sef. Cheers James

Love my 36 SC2, been running her well over a year now on a 00 CR250. So smooth and great on fuel.

Also adjust it self for different temp and altitude after is dial in. Have it on my Sherco 2021 working great. Fuel economy is real and the bike feels less powerful downd low which for hard Enduro its translate to more traction. Good video as always 👍 👌

Bought one and felt that the power delivery became too aggressive and had to be extra careful regarding throttle for traction, also felt like no difference at all between map 1 and 2 so I’m a bit confused if I like it or not for hard enduro… any tips ?

Well thank you for putting that on my bike. Let’s hope that’s what I get to say to you in a few days . I purchased a ticket to try to win that sweet looking 2022 Sherco 300 on the 17th.

Does the smart carb come in a size shmedium like that shirt?

The smart carb has NO jets and automatically adjusts its self for altitude and temp. Real cool. Would be excellent for ultralights

It’s Probbaly smoother because it doesn’t switch from one jet to another

Know it's past but a very beautiful deal. Enjoyed the vid.

Wish someone would fine tune each carb and dyno them for these videos.

And Cody Webb doesn’t want more power, he even says he wants smooth torquey low to mid power and that’s why he runs the SC2.

I have a lectron that works similar to this smart carb on my yz and yea it keeps gas in the tank way better then my stock carb but I did sacrifice some low end torque
