Let me start off saying Im horrible at math and when we had our instructor come in to teach this to us, I just didn't get it at all and got super frustrated and shut down! They literally only taught us this in 2.5 1 hour sessions! We took our dosage calculation test and I gave up and bombed it. Thank God we have 3 tries! They aren't teaching it to us anymore so I decided to take matters into my own hands and use old faithful youtube! I'm glad i found this video! I don't know if its the way you taught it or broke it down but not only did i understand it but I mastered This is so important for nurses to know so we don't kill anyone lol! Thank you thank you thank you and I will be sharing with a whole cohort of frustrated student nurses!

I struggled a lot with math dosage calculation but when i came across Allisha's unique way 0f teaching this dosage calculation and listened to it twice, in fact the fear of failing math calculation in Nclex RN Exam gone ! I have been a nurse for almost 20 years and I have only been able to do nurse math by ratio and proportion. I have NEVER been able to correctly work a problem by using dimensional analysis!
